Privacy policy
How we use the information you send us through this website.
Who we are
Multi Tek Design is an architectural design practice run by Sam Wallis, based in Bristol. We are responsible for the personal information you send us. You can contact us about this policy at info@mtekstudio.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive the details you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number if you choose to give it, the property postcode and a description of your project.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a conversation, prepare a fee proposal and, if you appoint us, carry out the project. We do not use them for marketing and we do not sell or share them with anyone else, except consultants we appoint on your project with your agreement.
Our legal basis
We use your information because you have asked us to respond to your enquiry, and because it is needed to take steps towards, and then carry out, a contract with you.
Where it is stored
Enquiry form submissions are handled by our website host, Netlify, and forwarded to our business email, which is provided by Microsoft 365. Both keep data secure and may process it outside the UK under approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
If you do not go ahead with a project, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you appoint us, we keep project records for up to 6 years after completion for legal and insurance purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@mtekstudio.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
